The Gull
Friends,this morning I am sharing this gull flying free above the Mississippi River. I have been reading some blogs from a website titled craft and vision and that has opened a question as to why we want to share our images with others. A new magazine is available at this site titled simply Photograph. I will be examining my own reasons for sharing in the near future, how about you? Do you share with an ulterior motive or like me, not sure of the reasons for sharing. When I write a blog about nature and the great outdoors, I tend to write to the person(s) who cannot experience and needs to see the misty mornings, glorious sunsets, flying birds and especially the micro world that exists at our feet. But I realize that while my images are probably sufficient for this purpose, my writing skills need to improve. So I will be exploring the writing of the blog to match my photographic visions. til Tomorrow MJ

I just love to share my birds and wildlife photos. Maybe I just like to show off, but not sure if that is the reason. But, of course, I am proud of my work. I do like to read others comments and maybe learn more from others. It is great fun anyway. 🙂

I love your bird and animals shots best of all. I will be so disappointed when you move to landscapes. You get really great shots of birds that I just don’t see. Keep on sharing.

MJ, your writing skills are very good. You have much to share with others. Many, many folks can’t go to the spots you explore.

my sharing has nothing to do with motives.. it is just a little journal of photos, some thoughts about them, and facts surrounding the taking of the photo. These are things in my immediate area on as close to a daily basis as is possible. I enjoy reading other blogs and its a great way to have something creative.. also a good way to express myself when trying times come.
I don’t fancy myself a writer, it is just thoughts become words.
