Friends, the last day on Hawk Ridge was a wonderful sunny blue sky day and the birds were really flying. We saw 101 bald eagles in 1 hour against a clear sky. They didn’t capture any eagles but, my husband, Jim (jimspringett.com) adopted this young male Redtail hawk and released it. The bird energy can be felt in your hands and it is quite an experience. You can still go to the ridge and watch the birds, but the community of educators and volunteers will not be present until next September and October. I wish to thanks all of those who educated me in the eight weeks previous and helped to make my learning experience such a joy. I will miss you all, but hope to see you again. til Tomorrow MJ
