Is there a difference?
Friends,are there any differences in these two images that can be detected on wordpress? I have run out of processed bird images and in culling through my entire library of images shot at Hawk Ridge, I found a few that i wanted to include in my book. Â Did I mention that I was writing a book about Hawk Ridge and my experiences up there this fall? Â Well, I am and I am going to take you along for the ride. Â Book preparation first needs some first class images. Â I was not entirely satisfied with this image as it was processed in the raw converter in Photoshop. Â One of the images is the raw, the other of this Broadwing Hawk is processed further in Photoshop. Â Can you tell which one? Â til Tomorrow MJ

I like the top image better than the bottom
there is more color saturation in the first one but more definition in the second one.
The photo on top seems to be sharper on the breast feathers.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say the first one is processed. The colours look a bit more vivid and there’s a bit more contrast and perhaps a little more detail (though it’s hard to tell at this size).

I love this image 🙂 Also, I think the second image is the RAW file and the first one is the processed image. This is mainly because of the increased contrast. Both are great images though 🙂
