I am a retired research technologist who is enjoying a second vocation in life.  Nature photography has always been a passion and now I am able to pursue wildlife full-time.  We moved from the Twin Cities (Minnesota) to the Wisconsin northwoods after retiring from our real jobs, to be in close proximity to Crex Meadows.  Crex is a wilderness with black bears, timber wolves and whitetail deer, as well as  Greater Sandhill Cranes and Trumpeter Swans who gather in the marshes before the big trek south.  Many smaller wild birds and mammals are also present in the refuge.  So the only thing of merit about myself is that I treasure the wild life and trying to photograph the wild life makes my clock tic.
