Friends, this week i am back in the badlands and all alone today to scout possible locations for flowers and birds.  Found this tiny bird but forgot to bring my fieldguide.  So i am calling on my readers, do you know what this bird is??, there were several present on the roadside, also saw lots of bison bulls, but no cows or orange calves. Maybe today i will find more of the main herd, this time of year , the cows and bulls are found in separate groups.  It is a cloudy morning and after driving over 600 miles,  i woke up too late for sunrise. The clouds are to clear about 2 pm so sunset might be my best light, so til Tomorrow MJ
