MAMA COYOTE
My best images are always from the Badlands of North Dakota in Theodore Roosevelt national park. My mom died in April and I have visited the badlands four times in2024. My mother was born and raised on a ranch that is now the Cottonwood Campground so I took her home for burial. This coyote was around the prairie dog town while we were there and reminded me of the maternal spirit that raises young. She raised five babies and gave up her dreams to assure a happy home for us. RIP momma
